Red Fandy silk saree with embellished border and stitched blouse

A red Fandy silk saree with a stitched blouse, made for everyday wear. The body is plain red with the work kept to the borders and a few motifs, so the drape stays clean.

The saree is a deep, true red with a soft sheen that shows as you move. A scalloped beadwork border runs down both long sides and across the pallu, with a matching edge along the bottom hem. Small leaf-like and floral clusters repeat along the border and appear on the body near the pallu. The blouse is a half-sleeve in a deeper maroon-red, with a diamond net pattern on the yoke, floral vines along the neckline, and beaded scallops at the sleeve edge.
